Opera attendance is certainly a key indicator. :)

How was the opera. I’m using my pass for La Boheme.

My attendance at the hockey game last night is definitely not an indicator of my economic status (I know, hockey, opera – totally the same thing). If I have to move into a cardboard box in order to keep going to games, I’ll do it. :)

The opera was good. I’m a little bit lukewarm about Mozart, so it wasn’t my favorite piece, but it was a well done light-hearted comedy. The Leporello character was pretty funny, and the woman playing Donna Elvira was fantastic.
Still I prefer the more gut-wrenching drama side of opera, so I think you made the right call waiting for Puccini. I am so looking forward to that one.
